Kicking & Streaming

Kicking & Streaming is a Podcast

... where two friends force each other to watch their favorite TV shows. A few things led former co-workers Sami & Pat to launching Kicking & Streaming: They missed hanging out and talking about movies when they should have been working, and they missed the good ol' days when people would watch TV shows once a week and discuss each episode with their friends the next day. No longer sharing an office and quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic, they're staying connected through Buffy the Vampire Slayer and LostBTVS is Sami's favorite show, which Pat likely would have spent his whole life never seeing if Sami weren't forcing him to with this podcast, and Lost is Pat's pick that Sami had zero interest in ever seeing and somehow managed to avoid all the spoilers. We watch one episode of each show per week and share our thoughts and predictions.

Watch with us, won't you? Because streaming is better with friends!

Hi, I'm Sami! By day, I help lady bosses with branding & marketing, and I run florapothecarie, my line of handmade 100% natural & vegan skincare. At night, I watch too much TV with my husband and our fur babies, Appa (dog) and Willow (cat). Buffy The Vampire Slayer is my all-time favorite show. Avatar: The Last Airbender, How I Met Your Mother, and Parks and Recreation are all tied for second. I'm addicted to tea & popcorn, and obsessed with true crime.

Hey, I’m Pat! I don’t normally subject myself to television, but when I do it’s usually being forced upon me by a friend. I am a full-time video producer and I run my own freelance video business, BohanFilm. Cinematography is a deep passion and I love movies and collecting physical media (it’s a problem really). I also enjoy my moments of free time with my wife and 2 kids at home in Vermont. Coffee is life.
